fu of the week: doug bresler
Posted by Zadi Diaz

This week's FU is given out by none other than Doug Bresler, independent animator and creator of Doogtoons. One of his most well-known works is his animated music video for Weird Al Yankovic, Trapped in the Drive-Thru, which has gotten almost five million views on YouTube alone.

Most recently, he's ventured into directing live action video with L.B. Rayne's Indiana Jones. It's a lost classic from 1984 and part of the original theme song for Indiana Jones Temple of Doom. Looking at the video, I don't think you can really dispute its authenticity -- or Doug's talent for time traveling in order to direct the music video.

But those aren't the only projects Doug has worked on. This self-taught, Freddy Award winner has worked on the animated Ask a Ninja shorts, Eli's Dirty Jokes, and Nick and Haig. He also produces and co-hosts a weekly audio comedy podcast called Pre-recorded Friends. On top of all of that, he's a talented musician who has toured across the US.

We definitely believe that Doug's talent, uncanny wit, comedic timing and fortitude makes him FUish all the way.
