RFID hacks and hack-prevention

OK so you wanna protect yourself from RFID hackers who may try to steal all that juicy purchasing power stored on your RFID-enabled credit cards? No problem. A little aluminum foil will do the trick. Check out this DIY tutorial courtesy of i-Hacked.com.

Or maybe you lean towards the other end of the hacker spectrum? Scanning and reprogramming RFID cards is actually much, much easier than it should be - especially considering how prevalent these things are in the global marketplace. Pick yourself up a cheap RFID reader/writer off eBay and use open source software like RFDump to clone, manipulate, and otherwise frak up those precious little chips.
