Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim are the two comedic misfits who make up the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! team, a popular show which airs on Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. The show, which premiered in February 2007, evolved from their previous hit show, Tom Goes to the Mayor, which got its start as a web cartoon on timanderic.com.

Production for Tom Goes to the Mayor ended after 30 episodes but much of the characters, segments and content made it into Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Check out one of the show promos for season two below:

But their body of work goes beyond what you may see on Adult Swim, so I highly recommend you check their website out for the vast array of creative craziness these guys produce.

What's most impressive to us is that the team have been able to make their particular sense of humor resonate on both the web and on television. It's not everyone's cup of comedic tea, but those who do get it are the most loyal fans one can have -- exactly because the comedy is so specific.

In this age of mass media and mass consumption, it's refreshing to witness two guys doing it their way.
