lo-fi electronic pop from passion pit

Let me count the ways I love the song Sleepyhead (embedded above) by Passion Pit. They have a really rich, layered sound with an awesome buildup to the electronic parts of the jam. Awesome. And the video was made with absolutely no computers, purely lo-fi stop-motion, cranked-down goodness.

Passion Pit is based out of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is comprised of Michael Angelakos (lead vocals), Ian Hultquist (synths), Ayad Al Adhamy (synths, samplers), Jeff Apruzzese (bass, synths), and Nate Donmoyer (drums). Their with indie label Frenchkiss Records, and the band was recently named Band of the Day by The Guardian in the UK.
