We're getting ready to leave for Austin, Texas, the site of the biggest party of the year, also known as the South by Southwest (SxSW) conference! It's a convergence of film, interactive, and music panels, discussions, and parties that always has amazing people attending and interesting new things to find out.
This year we're excited to be partnering with PBS! We will be producing a series of interviews with filmmakers, online video people, and social media experts as part of our involvement with PBS Engage. If you're going to be in Austin, come by and say hello at the PBS interactive social media and video studio!
406 E. Sixth St., Austin, TX (map)
March 14 - 16, Saturday thru Monday
12PM - 6PM Interviews and special guests
6PM - 7PM Happy Hour and music performances
At 6PM it'll be happy hour, and there will be live music performances from Paul Dateh, David Kitchen, and Alejandro Escovedo! After that, it's off into the Austin night to party-hop and mingle!
Also, Zadi will be speaking on two panels at SXSW this year. How to Rawk SXSW is on Friday at 3:30PM, and Suxorz '09: The Ten Worst Social Media Campaigns is on Saturday at 5PM. Click the links for details.
If you can't make it to Austin this year, PBS will be live-streaming a lot of the goings-on during the day from their website, so you can still hang out and say hi! The streaming player is embedded below! Keep in mind that it will only be streaming during those days.
